Dr. John E. Russell, D.V.M. – Our Veterinarian

Dr. Russell was born and raised in Grady, Arkansas. He is the youngest of six children. He graduated, as Valedictorian, from Grady High School in 1991. Dr. Russell majored in Biology at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1995, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He was accepted into the veterinary medicine program at Oklahoma State University and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Upon graduation, Dr. Russell moved to San Angelo, where he worked for a few clinics before buying North Concho Veterinary Clinic in 2005.

Dr. Russell and his wife, Kresta, have many pets (dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, chickens, ducks, toads, a rabbit, and a sheep). In his free time, Dr. Russell enjoys many outdoor activities: camping, hiking, riding the jet ski, as well as reading and watching movies.
